Resolved: TERRIBLE
Made an order over a month ago and STILL have not gotten an answer about where my order is. I have emailed and called TEN times now and still have not gotten a straight answer about where my order is.

Mixed satisfaction with out of market perfumes
I remember when this company stood by their products and customer service was important. When COVID 19 hit, I received an email that their shop was closing down as they were not an important industry.
I dug around on the web and found this site. I did place an order, but the perfume smelled like the original. I have been leery of using this site since I began reading bad reviews. How sad that what was once a successful cottage industry is now a shadow of its original.
No I dont want to purchase anymore of their products, and I dont recommend them to others. Abby S

The scent is nice and I will keep it but after it is applied the scent disappears. It may not be exactly like Toccara but it is nice.
I just wish it lasted because its like you have no cologne on at all. No I would not recommend

Hello. This was my first time in ordering from you.
I ordered the remake or your Midnight flowers by Avon
fragrance. I still have some of the original and I have to say that what I got was not close to what I was looking for. The perfume is not bad, Its just something that I don't use. I appreciate the effort you made, and if you need, I can give you the ingredients listed on the bottle.
I was hoping that it would be close because I love the Midnight Flowers. Just a little disappointed.

I am getting ready to reorder. We had the BEST experience with Scentmatchers!!!
As you can see my wife went through the 1st bottle and is almost two-thirds way through the second. They are not a scam!!
The first time they got the scent wrong. So we called and they tried again. The 2nd time they got it almost perfectly. Now if you didn't give them a chance to correct the order, that's on you.
When you order you are told point blank that they won't refund money period. What they will do is try twice to get it right for you. They corrected our order and would correct yours too given the chance I'm sure. They have to receive reimbursement for the work they do, these are scientists who are working on your orders.
What they do is truly unique and not the easiest process. Like I said they say right up front they cannot refund your order. So if you had a problem on the 1st order, my advice is give them a chance to correct it or ask for a different perfume maybe on the second try. We got 2 bottles of good smelling perfume the 1st time.
The 2nd time we got 2 bottles of the scent we wanted. We are very, very happy returning customers!!!!

Hello,
I was so excited to finally recieve my fragrance, but it doesn't smell anything like it. Its suppose to be Victorias Secret 55. Could you apply a refund please.
Awful smell, half full cheap bottle
Scentmatchers are the worst company I have ver dealt with., ALSO PAYPAL HAS GOTTEN awful, I dispute it as not being what I ordered , they (PayPal) WAS 'STRUCTERLY 'THE SAME SO THEY CANT REFUND, I TOLD THEM WATER IS A MASON JAR WOULD BE STRUCTERLY THE SAME, I am still fighting it out to get my money back from paypal credit,. They had given me a credit and then Scentmatchers sent them a tracking number where it was delivered and they charged me again, I told them I never said I did nit get the package, I said it was not what I ordered, not even close.
You would think Papal would stop this and discontinue them as merchant, But after years of being a fair company, now they always side with the vendors/ Has anyone else had this problem?
I think Scentmatchers has one large gallon jug of old Evening in Paris perfume and just pours it in the cheap tacky bottles and sends it out,. There is no lab, just a house and con artists.

Do not buy products from ScentMatchers
While looking for a replica of my wife's Interlude, I was sent to Scentmatchers from Fragrance.net. My daughter and wife have good noses and said it is not interlude.
My wife says it has undertones which she cannot handle, or she will get sick.
Unfortunately, I found their return policy too late.
I also noticed that the order notification said if there were any problems to please notify them, but the phone numbers and website under that statement were left blank.
I am going to notify Fragrance.net, which sent me to your website and am hereby joining all of you customers who have been truly disgusted with their product.
I sent them an e-mail, but the way I have been treated, I dont expect a reply. Maybe they will surprise me.

I have never heard of them but I now have a pending transaction of $39.99, that I did not make nor authorized to be made. I am not sure what is going on but it makes me wanna cry And my poor children
I have never heard of you guys and there is a pending transaction on my account. I have never ordered from there and only know about you guys because of this transaction that was not authorized by me, who is the cardholder.
Like how do you have my account information in the first place? And if i do not receive my money back i will make sure that somebody is charged! I have groups and pages on Facebook with over 100k members and will get you guys shut down! I know I am being a little aggressive but how would you feel, as my family and I already struggle to make ends meet.
Smh. Please do your part and make this right. I am also friends with newscasters and will make a story of this.. think i am bluffing?
Well you can very easily look it up online of the interviews that i have had personally and other stories that I helped to get told. Very hurt about this for that was to feed my children and i just want to cry.

I had the same thing just happen to me today from the same people for the same amount of money. These people are some low life scammers. Ill be having my bank reverse the charge

If you decide to go against all the many bad reviews (like I did), at least pay with a credit card rather than debit card because you will most likely need to dispute the charges. Order took about a month to receive.
Emails were generally answered in about 5-7 days. I ordered a perfume that was on their list of perfumes that “they have successfully duplicated”. What I actually received was a bottle of what smelled like nasty old perfume you used to find in dollar stores. The only good thing about the order was it at least shipped in the bottle I ordered.
They say if you are not satisfied they will attempt up to three more times to duplicate your scent and if you were still not satisfied THEN they would refund you no questions asked. I got as far as requesting a second attempt and then nothing. Regarding the second attempt, the person who was emailing me was asking me to tell them which direction to go for the scent. As in more or less of certain scents.
I told them it was so far off that I didn’t know and that was their job since they were the experts and supposedly already successfully recreated the particular scent I ordered (Abercrombie & Fitch original). I emailed a few weeks later and after about a week of waiting they told me my duplicate wasn’t yet made. I asked for a refund and no one would respond.
I ended up opening a dispute with PayPal since I used my paypal card for purchase and got all my money back. Just beware that this company will stage their feet in responding so pay attention to dates for disputing purposes.

My perfume was disgusting. So much so that it made me nauseous and I had a hard time washing it off. They wouldn't refund me, but I disputed the charge through Paypal and they refunded me.

Look into all of the businesses owned by Angela Lynn Schultz and Adam Lawrence Schultz. You will see this is a pattern. And they are making a fortune committing this fraud.
Owning and showing horses is expensive, but they seem to do just fine with trips around the world, etc. Forty acres of land and an 8100 square foot house with 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms - all on a lineman's salary.
Next letter for the Michigan Attorney General and Form 3949-A to the IRS.

I ordered Altima 11 vintage scent its suppose to have a pine smell it smells like flower I told them if it didn.t smell like the original smell not to take my money out of my account because my friend ordered it it was wrong so I thought I would try it and got scamed just like she did I think I deserve a re fund because I told them not to take it out of my account and they did anyway gonna check in on this because I got my message that I scent to them

wrong smell doesent even smell like a pine woodly smell like Altima 11 my friend ordered this and she got wrong smell so I described it that it smell like pine and a woody smell and if it didn,t not to take it out of my account well they sent me the same thing anyway I hate the smell ;it smells like flower not piny woody smell they shouldn,t have took my money out like I told them sent them a special note about this and stjll took it out I think they should refund my money or send the right stuff

I got two bottles of nasty cheap drugstore perfume that smelled nothing like the original I requested. I have a bottle and compared the two so I have proof. Might take them to small claims court
